I didn't think Stitch Fix was for me.

Have you ever walked by a store that you felt was for the ‘skinny’ and fashionable girls and you really wanted to go in and shop but you also didn’t want to be embarrassed if they didn’t have your size? I have always had body image issues and it didn’t matter if I was a size 10 or a size 18, I always felt like I didn’t belong in those types of stores.

Sometimes I’d be brave and go in acting like I was shopping for a gift.{IYKYK} Other times, I’d just walk by wishing I could be a size that would be cute and stylish. Clearly, I have some issues.

While I have found lots of stores since those days that have stylish clothes for all sizes- Maurices, I will love you forever, I found myself thinking that same way when it came to StitchFix.  I honestly didn’t think they would have clothes my size. On a good day, I’m a size 14 and an XL in tops. On a bad day, I’m a size 16 in pants and definitely a 2X in shirts.

Y'all... THEY HAVE MY SIZE!

I wouldn’t have even considered looking except a friend who was about my size was talking about her love for it and it made me go check. So, that’s why I'm now including this on my blog.

Whether you are an itty bitty skinny girl or a little on the chubby side, StitchFix could be the answer to you finding clothes that make you feel confident.

StitchFix is super easy and the clothes are cute. They match my style based on a questionnaire I filled out and I now get a box sent to me four times a year. If you are like me, you may not even have a clue on what your style is because you have spent years blending in and trying to look like everyone else. This is the BEST way to try an edgier look and experiment. And, I can do it all from home!

The box of clothing gets shipped when you want it to ship and its super easy to set up via their app. Even the times I don’t like something or it doesn’t fit right, returning is easy! (You should know I’m the girl that returns NOTHING to the stores because it is time consuming.) Your box will come with a pre-paid return envelope. You put the items in the envelope you don’t want to keep and send it back.

I have an ADD brain that gets distracted easily and can’t follow through on things if it takes more than two steps. When I say this process is easy, it’s easy. The last perk I’ll mention is the brands that I’ve been introduced to. Living in a rural town with no mall, we have very few options. This saves me so much time because a trip to a mall or big city would be an all day trip.

If you want to give StitchFix a try, here’s my referral link. It will give you $25 credit to get you started. If you try it, make sure you let me know! I'd love to know what you think!
